About No Greater Love

No Greater Love (NGL), founded in 1971, is a non-profit, patriotic, humanitarian organization which honors our fallen and their grieving families, our troops and our veterans. Throughout the year, NGL has remembrance wreath laying ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknowns at Arlington National Cemetery for those who died in all our wars, conflicts and incidents since 1776. It has been devoted to children who lost a parent in service to our country. NGL is dedicated to ensuring that those who died for us will never be forgotten. NGL seeks to provide a sense of history to our citizens of what it means to be an American.

Our Home

Thanks to the outstanding generosity of the Iron Workers, Sheet Metal Workers, Fire Fighters & Painters International Unions - our office in the United Unions Building has been our home RENT-FREE for over 40 years! They have helped make it possible for NGL to remind our citizens to remember our fallen and their families. We're located just down the street from the White House!

Moment of Remembrance

NGL initiated the National Moment of Remembrance in 1997 to honor those who died in the service to our country. Congress made it the law of the land in 2000. NGL asks all Americans to pause for a moment of respect for our fallen heroes at 3:00 p.m. local time wherever they may be on Memorial Day and to make a commitment to live honoring America's fallen every day.

What We Do

NGL ensures families of the fallen that their loved ones' sacrifices are not forgotten. It is the only group in our history that has brought these families together for over 40 years to share their grief and celebrate the lives of their fallen heroes. The emotional support system is especially devoted to the children who have lost a parent for our precious freedom.
